A local company with a great selection of houses in and around Padstow. From the booking online to the guidance and personal attention the office gave, was beyond expectations. If looking for a great Cornwall holiday the choice of houses should suit all.

We have used Harbour Holidays for many years and always found the booking process simple, holiday homes great and locations better. However, the most recent holiday in August 2020 was a disaster. Firstly, we knew to only look for holiday homes with parking and used the option in the Harbour Holidays website filter to focus on those that had parking and booked a house that was marked as having parking. It never had parking on property. It DID have a local car park permit at one time, but that was revoked by the local authority. Parking in Padstow and especially this year was a disaster, often taking an hour of circling one of the local car parks waiting for a space. HH offered a refund sufficient to cover the cost of local parking. But the time wasted trying to get parked and inability to jump in the car was a nightmare. The house itself was one of the dirtiest holiday houses we had ever experienced. Everything was dirty, food left if the freezer, clothes left from previous guests, cutlery unwashed, plates and oven items put back on shelves unwashed. The house had two fridges and one was so dirty, we closed it and never opened it again. We spent the first day cleaning. Generally, the house felt tired and in need of a good bit of maintenance. We reported this to HH straight away. We used email because we did not know about the out of hours number. HH referred to the issues as “dust”. They did send a cleaner back on the first week who tidied up entrance courtyard and emptied the bins. We thank HH for the Rick Stein bag and bottle of wine which they left as a gesture, but we have to say that we were all happy to leave and we left early. We left early because we had all had enough of the dirty falling apart house and tired of feeling dirty. I have attached some of the pictures we took. We have lots more. It was a shocker and has put us off.

Have to agree with the other reviews that this holiday letting agency have been great, timely communication throughout and the our rental (The Moorings) was just lovely. Will definitely use again (if I can persuade my husband to do the 6 hour drive!)

We were supposed to stay in one of Harbour Holidays Cottages but our holiday sadly got cancelled due to the pandemic. What I can say though is their customer service is fantastic. Very friendly and efficient. We hope to stay with you in the future.
