5 Stars in relation to this tour. We had Ciaran as our driver/guide. He was exceptional. Unbelievable knowledge and made the tour so interesting. He was on time very polite and friendly. Taxi was spotless. He let us out on numerous occasions to take pics and sign the peace wall. I couldn't recommend Ciaran enough and will be back again and requesting his services. 10/10 Ciaran

This tour offers a great way to understand more of Belfast’s history. We were picked up from our hotel and driven around by our driver, Dermot who gave us a frank and at times moving insight into growing up in West Belfast during the Troubles and life today in the city. The tour included a drive along the Peace Wall and explanations of the murals in the surrounding communities with time to get out and take photos. Definitely worth doing!

I did enjoy the black cab tour in Belfast. Having said that, I recommend to watch out for Paddy Campbell's Belfast Famous Black Cab Tours. When the driver arrived, he said he was not informed about the itinerary and costs previously agreed with Paddy. He said Paddy gave me the wrong quotation, that the agents are often ill-informed, and that the second part of my tour (passing by Stormont) was not feasible. I had carefully checked all the details by phone the day before. I tried to call Paddy to clear things out but no one answered. In the end, I cut the tour short. Also, instead of dropping me at the airport as agreed, the driver let me downtown saying that he finished the tour one hour before. I wrote to Paddy and asked them to kindly look into this. It’s been more than a week since I wrote them, but they completely ignored my email (although they promptly answered a couple of them before the tour). In sum, don’t trust them. I regret I did.

We had Gerry 2, as a guide. He was sound out, pretty impartial I thought and an encyclopedia of dates. He wasn't rushed at all and was only happy for us to ask questions on anything we weren't sure about. It's a must to do in Belfast imo. He also gave us tips on other things we were doing around, eg. Giants causeway, what to see, where to park and eat to get best value etc. Couldn't recommend him and this tour enough.

My husband and I had a tour from Tom on Friday and it was outstanding - definitely the best thing we did during our trip. Tom knew the history backwards, patiently answered all our stupid questions and was a great laugh. He also managed to give a bit of insight into his own experiences without making the tour at all biased, which has got to be a skill! Couldn't recommend this more strongly.
