We did the 1.5 hour hack this week and it was amazing!!! All the staff were so friendly, chatty and lovely which made the hack even more enjoyable! The horses were gorgeous and clearly very well looked after. Can't recommend this place enough and will definitely be going back!

We went on a 1.5hr hack on the lovely Jack & Monty today & had a wonderful time. The horses were impeccably well behaved & spotlessly turned out & our lovely guide Megan & handsome Romeo had us weaving & winding our way around the extremely picturesque woods that are literally opposite the driveway for the stables. We've been to HGS a few times now & are welcomed back like old friends everytime & our experience just gets better & better. The girls, lead by the awesome Cheryl, are enthusiastic, dedicated & extremely hard working & the horses are great big gentle giants who genuinely seem to enjoy their work & are cared for to a very high standard. Today was absolutely perfect & we can't wait until we get a chance to visit again.
Lovely place, great friendly staff. I've done hacks and an experience day here both of which I highly recommend. No experience necessary, they will taylor to meet your ability.
