Spiced Roots was a fantastic find thanks to the hubby. I've only had Caribbean a handful of times but this was AMAZING! Wonderful flavors and sizable portions as well. We enjoyed the fried plantains and fish croquettes to start which were both delicious. For the mains I had the fried fish and my husband had the jerk chicken. Both were yummy but I preferred mine to avoid dealing with the bones, also the sauce with the fish was amazing. Somehow we found room for banana bread and rum cake for desert which were both lovely. Preferred the rum cake. Would highly recommend a visit if you looking for a nice change for the pub food.

Spiced Roots have only ever brought joy into my life! From the moment I enter this restaurant it feels like I’m a guest in someone’s home. The food is next level and even as I lover of cooking I’d never accomplished the amazing flavours that are created here. The service has always felt special and I’ve never left without a smile on my face. Great people and an incredible selection of rum! Keep up the good work! Looking forward to my next visit in the near future x

Wonderful food. This little restaurant now treads the line beautifully between authenticity and modern gourmet dining. Relaxed and convivial service. Lovely dark rum cocktails. It'd be sad if their prices went up any higher than they currently are though.

Delicious specimen of Caribbean cuisine. The jerk chicken was full of flavors and substantial in portion size. The curry goat was good too. I had fried plantains as side which was simply impeccable. Rum cake was very tasty. Next time I will go there to try the Rum cocktails
