Purchased my girls six of them earlier this year, lovely hens three varieties, supplied by Sarah the boss who is so helpful and an absolute delight to deal with. If it’s good Hens you want this is the place to go.

Healthy young birds, laying well - very happy with Oxford Poultry, who have a good selection of birds at reasonable prices, and paid good attention to their bird health and sanitary procedures, which is always a good sign.
This is a wonderful place to buy chickens! First of all, Sarah could not be more helpful. I won't tell you all of the things she did at some inconvenience to herself to help us, in case it sets a trend, but she is a mine of useful information and advice. As we are complete novices, she even showed us how to clip the wings. The birds are all outdoor reared and fully vaccinated. When you visit (we made an initial non-buying visit just to check out their operation) you will see dozens and dozens of healthy hens in a very large free range area adjacent to a barn. The hens are very calm and content and will come over to you. They are mostly easy to pick up and are happy to be held and stroked. Our chickens - made the transition to their new home very easily and get on with each other just fine. Sarah was extremely patient with all of our questions and with the amount of time we spent choosing the birds, which was probably annoyingly long! She also invited us to call her if we have any questions. It's always a real pleasure to get good, old-fashioned customer service, especially when the prices are very competitive! We bought our 2 girls from Oxford Poultry and we were very pleased with the service. We went in the run to choose the hens we wanted, she grabbed them easily and checked they were all good. She also clipped her wings for us. Since then (1 year ago) our chickens have been very happy and are still laying lots of eggs. We recommend the place, the animals look very happy
We've bought chickens from Oxford Poultry for years and they're great - condition, quick to start laying (unlike another place who promised point of lay and it took 2 months!), vaccinated and friendly birds. All in all great value and nothing better than fresh eggs
