Steve was excellent! Informative and funny, this tour was the perfect introduction to the University. He gave an excellent history of the city itself, the colleges, and some of the more famous alumni. Despite the rain, we were very entertained!

While they sell children's tickets, the university and city tour is not child friendly. (Even for older kids) The guide did not interact with the children, and did not attempt to relate famous people such CS Lewis and Lewis Carroll to stories kids might know. The guide did not have anything to say about fictional settings for Harry Potter, as advertised in the tour description. When asked, our guide told us there is an alternative tour that covers this. This was disappointing. The guide was knowledgeable about the history of the city and college. The access to a college was cool.

Absolutely loved this tour! Magnus was excellent and very knowledgeable about Inspector Morse, Lewis and Endeavour. My relatives visiting from the US are huge fans and were desperate to visit Oxford to see the sights for themselves. Two hours flew by and we saw a lot of interesting spots we recognised from all three shows. Coincidentally, we were even lucky enough to see some of the 60s props and vehicles being used for (we assume!) a new episode of Endeavour. Thank you so much!
