The tour was historically interesting. We went around ten colleges and saw some court yards from the outside. This time we were not allowed in. The stories of famous people who went to Oxford was fun to hear.
Just finished the tour with Mark, a very bright young man local in Oxford. Really enjoyed the tour with him. Thanks to the COVID-19, we're the only travellers who booked the tour for the specific time slot so it’s like a private tour. Except the in-depth introduction of the history of the colleges, Mark and we also talked casually about other stuff, making the tour more personal and less commercial.
Great walking tour to get to know this historical city by foot. Tour is led by knowledgable, super friendly, and funny students who also can share interesting stories about university life and admission processes if interested in. Entirely based on donations and nobody is pressured to give anything. A must do in Oxford.
We had a fantastic time with our guide Mark today visiting sites in beautiful Oxford (thanks Mark). Mark is a very knowledgeable professional with fantastic sense of humour. I would recommend Footprints Tours without hesitation.
