The store experience was good. Employee on the door to welcome customers and hand gel was available. Queues were short and it's a very large store - sells a lot. Remember, a lot of Dunelm's items aren't great quality but they are good value for money. Cafe closed early which was a disappointment.
Bad experience, not so welcoming staff. Poor service. Won't be going to the Botley store in Oxford again. Looking at previous reviews, I'm not the only one to have a bad experience at this store. Hope this is not a trend. Staff definitely need training. It's a shame I could not review the products, as the visit to this store left me shocked at how rude staff are.
Awful staff. Went it to collect 5 mugs I’d ordered which were just dumped on the till, the lady serving me just pointed and said there you go. I said can I have a bag or something to put them in? Kinda hard to carry 5 mugs and a purse! She said yep got a massive plastic bag with no handles and threw it at me. Then just walked away from the till. Absolutely no help. Train your staff on their customer service!
