Overton House Cafe

Mum and I had visited last year and loved everything about Overton House cafe! Came again this year, obviously things were a little different due to the virus, but the takeaway service is great! We were still able to enjoy the delicious cakes and coffee! The staff are ever so friendly and we will definitely be coming again!

Overton House Cafe is the stand out best café in the Yorkshire Dales. I've been coming here for a couple of years and each time reminded why I come back. A friendly, family run business that serves local produce. It's menu is well thought out and prepared fresh daily. Sandwiches and soup of the day are always a favourite. I've cycled here a couple of times and they have happily offered to refill water bottles. Dog friendly and homely, a must see stop on your way through Reeth - you won't be disappointed.

Only serving take away, however coffee and cake is delicious. We sat outside on their picnic benches on a sunny autumnal mid morning. Really nice.

Had a really tasty lunch yesterday as a takeout, this is how they are operating safely at the moment, my wife's cheese scone with chilli marmalade topped with cream cheese and my panini with cheese, sundried tomatoes were delicious our respective decaf and ordinary lattes finished with a shared raspberry chocolate cake finished a delightful lunch, will be back soon

Amazing place, well recommended. Good hearty portions of real home made food. Will return!
