Still one of the best Chip shops in the UK. Staff always friendly, and place is spotless. The owner, Greg, take great pride in all his outlets. Excellent event catering van also

Fish and chips and curry sauce special 8.20 thought this was a little steep? Was nice tasting food although nothing special . Not great value for money when merchants in oldswinford is 6.70 and was much better tasting in my opinion. Chip shop was empty maybe that was the reason why . # I'm adding this part in response to owners comments below - I'm sorry but I personally don't agree if your saying that yours was a bigger Fish and Chips and thats why your dish was dearer? then you do need to do a comparison check, because it wasn't on that particular day anyway. I'm certainly not trying to discredit you or your shop in any way, just my own opinion I felt value for money wasn't great.

Can’t recommend Our Plaice enough! We had them serve 96 fish and chip suppers to our road last Saturday. It was lovely food and brilliant service! We will definitely be doing it again!
