Great day out, lovely weather, peaceful very enjoyable. We hadn't booked ( which is advisable) just came across it by chance and booked on the day. Life jackets and instructions provided. Enjoyed taking it out ourselves rather then a tour guide. Beautiful surroundings

A beautiful place to sit and watch the many activities on Oulton Broad. I love this place and could spend many hours, days, weeks etc at this place.
Pleasant place just to stroll around. Accessible to wheelchairs and scooters. Disability and normal toilets. Cafes for drinks and food.
Easy stern end mooring for the boat at 9:50 no electric hook up, 13 with. Water available for replenishment from harbour office. Be warned if you want to go into town it's a bus ride as it's a few miles.
I have been here before and really enjoyed the boat racing on a Thursday evening. At 4 per adult and 2 per child it's reasonable. I would suggest arriving early as in the summer it can get very busy. Great family evening out.
