The location is awesome in the center of Oudewater. The lunch selection is good and the quality of the food is as well. The staff behaves friendly enough but there is a big problem here with the slowness of service as well as a lack of listening to the customer. Firstly we had to beg to be served then we had asked for a late macchiato with oat milk but were served a normal one (we compared to the other latte we had which was supposed to be normal milk). We asked for flat water and were served bubbly water and finally when asked for a fork to eat we had to ask at least twice before it was brought out. It would also be nice if there were more menus!! The toilets are very clean and well appointed.

Gorgeous historic house, with modern facilities, like elevator for persons in wheelchair, high tech kitchen, beautiful modem interior, good food and drinks, terrace with all round view in fairytale center of one of the oldest (tiny) cities in the Netherlands.
Very good restaurant with lots of good plates. They do for me the best bitterballen of netherland and the staff is very polite and sympathic !!
Heerlijk gegeten. Echt een aanrader. Vriendelijk personeel. Leuk dat de eigenaar na afloop nog even langs iedereen komt. Gezellige mooie locatie.
