WHAT A JOKE! We spent a couple of days in this hotel. The hotel is a total MESS! It s not a hotel but a CONSTRUCTION SITE and no one ever told us there is work done! The service is terrible and the staff is really unfriendly. I would suggest to everyone to avoid this hotel! There is NO SPA but a tiny pool and a tiny tiny Jacuzzi: TOTAL CON!!!!

We received a gift voucher for dinner and spa 2 years ago as our wedding present. Every time we called to arrange our stay/visit we were told there was no available space/table in the near future. Reception was unfortunately unprofessional and patronizing. We gave up the gift at the end, coming to the conclusion that their vouchering system must be scam.

Incredibly disappointing experience and unacceptably poor customer service. We booked two rooms in the hotel plus dinner and breakfast for 11 in the restaurant for a family celebration. We were hoping for a relaxing weekend in beautiful surroundings as promised by the website. To our absolute surprise, when we arrived we found a building site. The grounds have been totally destroyed by building work, the hotel is mainly boarded up with chip board and the spa is nearly entirely closed. There is a make-shift jacuzzi outside. This certainly wasn't the charming experience we were promised on the website - which still does not warn you that the hotel is nearly entirely under construction. When we addressed the state of the hotel with the manager we were shouted at, berated, and even accused of lying and one point. The lie was the hotel themselves - it is unacceptable to sell an experience that is totally unavailable and then treat customers so poorly. Even without the building work the photographs are a very glamourised representation of what you will actually find. The food in the restaurant was fine although incredibly overpriced and breakfast was poor. The breakfast buffet is tiny - in a very cramped corner of the small dining room and has a limited selection. If the hotel is busy the breakfast area is so overcrowded it becomes impossible. Hotels needs to renovate and that is understandable. What isn't understandable is how guests are not warned of quite how severe the impact on their stay would be and how badly we were treated thereafter.

A very good staff job from my favorite server the little Louis, he'll do great things in his near future. Some delicious food served in the restaurant, perhaps another great idea from little Louis. Keep it up guys !

We booked a stay via Groupon paying 325 for 1 night, 2 persons and a 5-course dinner. We normally don't spent that kind of money, but we thought 'Well for once...'. It was a hustle to find a suitable date, because all Saturdays up to two months ahead were booked, but we managed to book a slightly more expensive room (40). So, we were set on a nice weekend of luxury and niceness. But.. We had to pay 80 extra for the dinner (appetizer, water, wine, coffee, table service). There were little tiny blood stains on our sheet (not so cool) and the room was very small, no shower and just bad taste of design (pink cushions, fake animal pelt, pink light...). We had a lot of fun, because it was all kind of surreal, but this was not worth it's money and the way they hide the extra costs is really not nice (they never show a menu card or explicitly say you'll have to pay... they kind of present it as a gift or part of the deal). We were probably naif, but I just really don't like this kind of business. So if you go, just beware, everything comes with a (height) price :).
