Wonderful stone structure and architecture. Warm and friendly staff. The ministry team are great and their Wednesday noon concert series under the leadership of their music director entertains hundreds of people weekly. Great place for worship and concerts in the community.

As I was growing up in Old Ottawa South, this Church always brought me happiness and a deep sense of belonging, even now as I watch the services from my bed in Sharbot Lake. From 1947 through and into the 1970s, along with my family and sister-friend Connie Keeler, we sat in the first row of the balcony ... first as children, then as teenagers, and finally as young adults, before life took us all in different directions. I remember shortly after my Father received his Commission as an Officer in the Canadian Armed Forces (1953ish), my Mother accidentally dropped her gloves over the rail and on to the head of none other than Paul Hellyer, our newly-minted Minister of National Defence! Connie and I attended Sunday School, Church, CGIT, Brownies, and Youth Groups, making many friends along the way. We listened wide- eyed to Dr. Donald speak about his Missionary work in Africa ... and I later lived there myself for three years. We also listened to Rev. Lloyd Shorten, a man so kind that he actually visited me in the Shriners Hospital in Montreal, where I was a patient for months at a time between the ages of 2 to 16. My Maternal Grandmother (Gertrude \Dougie\ Douglas) was a Found ing Member of and Counsellor at Camp Khalala, the CGIT camp I so enjoyed. Later, I joined the Junior and then Senior Choirs, and I also taught Sunday School. It's a wondrous place, His presence so obviously felt.

Roland Graham's ambitious music production talents make the Wednesday Doors Open at Southminster music series vibrant and varied. The Rideau Chorale is an excellent mixed choral group, also based out of Southminster. Excellent music in an accessible neighbourhood.

Attended a nice Piano performance with my Father. We thoroughly enjoyed it and would recommend to anyone visiting or in the area.
