Uncle Joe's Fish And Chips

Awful. Chips burned on outside, not cooked inside. Fish was horrible, again not cooked nice. Everything were soaking in oil. Shop do not accept card, cash only. More reason to avoid. Visited 1st time and definitely a last one.

Excellent tasting fish, well cooked and hot, only criticism is too many small chip bits, but very tasty none the less, definitely one of the better tasting fish i have ever had.

Without a doubt these are the best fish and chips anyone could wish for. Perfectly fries fish and the chips are amazing. Mushy peas to die for. It may sound all embellished but believe me they are worth a taste. You won't bother with the wetherby whaler and their prices ever again.

Me and hubby are regulars but the new fish fryer is useless. He always gets specials,so I thought I would have same for a change. Never will I get fish and chips from here again, unless the lovely guy called Kirk is behind the counter and frying the fish.He is fantastic and always cooks everything perfect. What a shame. Sorry about having to leave poor review, but the owner needs to accept defeat that the new fryer he employed, and still insists on keeping despite the damage being caused to his business. HE CANNOT COOK FISH. SIMPLE AS THAT.
