Another ruin of an ancient fortress close to the highest mountain of the region - Zaruby. Definitely worth a visit

Castle ruin, about 40 min (200m elevation) from Bukova, with nice view over the Bukova dam.
Very nice view on the next mountain Zaruby, which is the highest in Male Karpaty. Also nice view on the water reservoir Bukova. The road i took from the reservoir was not easy but doable, based on your codition.
A fairly hard to reach ruin but worth the effort. The nature here and the views are amazing. There are a lot of walls standing spread across a large area grown over by trees. The way to the very top can be hard to find at first so just walk around a bit. There are a few fireplaces scattered around the ruin with a lot of available deadwood nearby.
