Osteria Marco

We dined at Osteria Marco back in November. We were in the depths of the pandemic and wanted to get out and help some of the folks in the restaurant business. We were overcharged for our meal to the tune of 30 on an 80 tab. We called and talked to a manager on two different occasions. We were promised a 50 gift card by the first guy; it never came. The second manager promised to investigate and get back to us. We've never heard anything from them. We are VERY DISPLEASED with the customer service. Regardless of whether or not the food was any good, we will NEVER give them any more business. We CANNOT recommend this restaurant.

They make you sign a \waiver\ asking for email, cell AND a signature that you don't have symptoms. Really? The management thinks that's going to solve anything! Just to prove the point, I gave a false name, email and a scribble for a signature and she welcomed right in. Pointless! Then they force a 22% gratuity and then wanted to seat me RIGHT next to the kitchen. When I asked to be seated somewhere else, she said they are reserving all the empty tables for other reservations. There were 40 tables and about 4 of them had people at them. That goes beyond social distancing. I'm not sitting next to the kitchen while being forced to pay 22% gratuity. I consistently pay 20% on my own when given good sometimes even medium service, but this is ridiculous. This is a restaurant that thinks WAY TO HIGHLY OF THEMSELVES, especially in an area where there are plenty of other options.

What a treat! It was extremely difficult to choose something to order as all of the plates around me looked stunning and delicious. I got the salmon which was the best - it just melted in my mouth like butter. We got a mozzarella and artichoke appetizer. Also chose to share the chocolate for dessert, which was scrumptious. I definitely recommend you reserve a table ahead of time because they're always getting reservations filled. Full bar with open seating. You have to go down stairs to get to restaurant. I did not see elevator access, FYI.

Stopped in here tonight for a late dinner with friends. Food and service was excellent! Our waiter Armand was very attentive and recommended a great selection of food and wine. Great personality too and we all left completely satisfied. Started off with tons of apps including muscles, tuna tartar, chef’s charcuterie board, and olives. All of which were cooked right and delicious. For dinner we picked out 5 dishes and ate family style, felt just like being back home for a big Italian meal. The pasta tastes homemade, forgot to ask while at dinner. Will definitely be back again To try some of the other dishes.

Fabulous meal, delicious flavors and good portions. The Bruschetta is not traditional as you would expect, but so very delicious. A must try. The steak cooked and seasoned to perfection. We would definitely come back again and bring others!
