Osteria Dei Sapori

When I see reviews of a place that pretty much all give 5 stars, I get suspicious. However, having now experienced Osteria dei Sapori I can see that the reviews are all accurate! We ordered a takeaway meal from Osteria as dining in was not an option. The process was easy, our order was ready on time, really well packaged and piping hot. All five main meals and my starter were fantastic. Really nicely cooked, very tasty and very well received. Puddings were also wonderful and nicely presented in individual pots. I can easily recommend this place and look forward to visiting for a sit down meal inside when we are allowed. A well deserved five stars from me.

Thoroughly enjoyed our trip here for a weekend lunch. The antipasti sharing board was amazing (accompanied by the lovely olive oil they sell). I had the seafood rigatoni for main whuch was stunning. Thankfully we still had room for dessert too!! The staff were friendly and attentive, and the surroundings lovely.

We have dined here twice and had takeaway once. All experiences have been wonderful! This is an excellent Italian restaurant, one of the best in Edinburgh. The Melanzane is amazing! We will be back - again and again.

We came here back in August and the food was divine! Best Italian cuisine we've eaten, with freshly made pastas, great selection of drinks and really friendly staff.

Friendly and welcoming staff. Great service. Delicious Italian food. Relaxed atmosphere. My new favourite Italian in Edinburgh!
