Getting in was just as much fun as eating here! Plenty of history to be had in the walls of this restaurant. Get through the Iron Curtain and experience wonderful food, a great atmosphere and awesome service! I really wish I had more time to try everything here, but I cannot, so I will have to schedule another trip.

Interesting Ukrainian-history themed restaurant. They offer a short, free tour of the history and memorabilia in the restaurant. Big place, comfortable, with different themed rooms. REALLY good food. Had the stewed goat; best goat I ever ate! Not expensive. Highly recommended!
The food is good. Really! So it could have been 5* but for the poor service. It takes you ages to wait for both the staff and the stuff they are supposed to serve. They don't seem to care much having tons of tourists around ((

Difficult to find if you don‘t know about it. Food and service excellent! Also the „first visitor“ tour is great! I can only highly recommend it!
My first time here. The reviews were good. Took me a while to find, had to ask a couple of people. Part of the fun is finding it as it’s very well hidden! Worth finding though. It’s quirky. Good good and drink for a very reasonable price. Service initially slow. We were tucked away and got forgotten. Once I’d ordered, service flowed better. Had to send side of veg back as cold although main was hot and tasty. Worth a visit if you’re in Kyiv. Do take the time to look for it!

Cozy place for visiting Kiev first time. Food itself was tasty, so on the whole 5/5 stars. Portion is regular one, not huge nor small 4/5 stars. Surrounding provides loft like feeling, attractive and cozy - 5/5 stars. Service fast, even though dishes could be served for everybody around one table at once 4/5 stars. In total my score is 5 stars for this place.
