Well if that’s the best in Canterbury, I do feel sorry for the locals. Had fish, chips and curry sauce. The sauce was stone cold. Chips where not bad tasting but lukewarm. Fish same temperature and batter wasn’t cooked all the way through. Also was only one person ahead of me. So would hate to see what it would be like if it was busy.

This has become our favourite local chippie in recent years. Consistently excellent. Great chips, great batter, perfectly cooked fish.
Doesn't look like much....but the fish and chips are excellent. Been many times and always great. I would recommend.
My family and I had fish & chips from Ossie's last night, and I said then that I must write a review. It was bloody delicious and more than enough for the four of us! I can not recommend it highly enough, excellent!
Fish was lovely and fresh, batter and chips were all crisp and saveloy was delicious.
