You can make your own mind, look at my image, are they the Best Fish and chips in Tankerton in Kent? I prefer my chips to have more colour and the batter crispy. Expensive 60p for a pickled onion!

We went for fish and chips last Sunday and it was very nice crispy battered :) my husband had fish roast dinner and it was very nice as well. They also have glute free gravy. I would recommend this place. Definitely would go back
Oh my word! It read was the BEST fish and chips we had. Went there a week ago and we are still talking about that amazing lunch we had (yes it's 2020, pandemic, not going out much etc etc but honestly.. it was amazing). The waitress - I forgot to ask her name unfortunately - was super friendly and accommodating. We sat outside (not the most scenic view but the best restaurants don't rely on the view) and it was interesting to see how many people we queuing for the take-away - obviously very popular with the locals. Our haddock and cod arrived quickly. The fish, chips and salad were perfect!!! SO fresh and crispy!!! We will definitely go back and I can't wait!!
After our bad experience a week ago we decided to ring Ossies to make them aware of our disappointment. They were very surprised to hear about the poor quality of my Rock Eel. They offered to replace it when we next ordered. So we decided to reorder but to order haddock rather than Rock. And I’m pleased to say that it was delicious and a huge improvement on out previous meal.
Super tasty fish and chips, we popped in for some and then ate them a short walk away looking at the sea. Friendly service and nice selection of fishy and chippy things on the menu - would recommend :)
