Pretty museum and building, but the exhibition was a little too weird for my liking.

The museum is wonderful. The ivory white is tastefully done. But the exhibition of the masks was not very varied.
The day I went to Museum Jan Cunen there were two different exhbitions: "Naakt of Bloot", which showed differences and similarities in nude art from the late 19th century and in the present day, and "Bagger", which was an exhibition on archeological findings in the area, mainly dated from around the Roman Era and discovered by amateur archeologists. Both were interesting to watch, walk through and read, but in both cases too little information was given to get the most out of either exhibit without being already quite familiar with the subject at hand. However, I'm quite interested to see what other exhibitions they will curate this year.

Prachtige oude Villa, de vrijwilligers zijn erg enthousiast en willen heel graag extra informatie geven over de collectie. Erg de moeite waard.
Prachtig museum: mooi gebouw, verrassende tentoonstellingen en zeer vriendelijke vrijwilligers die graag een toelichting geven bij wat je ziet. Ook qua Corona maatregelen prima geregeld!
Sorry hoor, maar de catering was een aanfluiting. Wij hebben een half uur op twee tosti's zitten wachten. Het excuus was we hebben veel lunches. Ik zag inderdaad wat mensen buiten zitten. Binnen waren er met het onze erbij twee tafeltjes bezet. Er liepen drie vrouwen rond die de lunch verzorgde. De tosti's smaakte wel lekker, maar waren ook nog verkeerd, we hadden wit brood besteld en het waren bruine boterhammen. Omdat we inmiddels behoorlijk honger hadden gekregen, hebben we het snel opgegeten. Wel gemeld en toen zei het meisje oh sorry mijn fout. Dus zover prima, maar lieve mensen ga een beetje gestructureerder te werk. Een half uur voor twee tosti's is echt te lang.
