Fantastic food with quality, made with love. The staff is so nice and welcoming. This is my favorite restaurant and I will recommend it every day.

We were traveling with two children somewhere to find a suitable restaurant for dinner. We took a look here and dared to go in with children . The waiter at the entrance was also surprised at first, but he was very polite and said that they had a place for us. We pretty much got a round table in the best place. The menu card is designed differently here. It varies daily and there are always only two options to choose from and consists of a 5-course menu. The children went through the whole thing well and - if not from everything - ate a few dishes. The ambience is very nice, elegant and stylish. A little too dark for my taste. The food tasted really good and the waiter was very helpful and courteous. The prices are reasonable - we came to a sum of approx. 130 EUR. It was a nice experience.

A wonderful dining experience. Living in NYC I’ve been to many decent restaurants - not many would put so much effort in their lunch courses. The complexity of flavors and textures was a delightful surprise. Also, service was excellent as the friendliness being so genuine - which I assume is quite common in Norway. Anyway, I will highly recommend this restaurant if you want to experience what presumably is a modern take on Norwegian cuisine.

Good food, and kind and knowledgeable staff. A bit pricey, but well within reason for the quality of service and food served. The atmosphere is not too quiet, but it is easy to keep a conversation going. You can hear, but are not bothered by conversations at the next tables.

Celebrated my boyfriends birthday here. We had the 9 course with wine package. Really stuffed by the 7th course. The staff was really friendly and was able to explain in English/Norsk about the food. They gave us little breaks so we can digest before the next courses.

We had ham with reindeer on waffles to start which was amazing. We'd never tried whale before but we had it here and it was exquisite. It was balanced perfectly with apple puree and crispy kale. For our third dish we had chicken with walnut sauce, barley and spring carrots which was also excellent. The service is incredible, the staff are happy and very welcoming and can talk about the food as much as you like! Would absolutely recommend you go here.

Very disappointment for the price and place to be. The Christmas tasting menu was rather bad. Service was slow and miss much. Most pork in different style. Expect more. Expensive regarding the value and quality of the food. It seems the chef smash something together, easy and simple, and adapt for high rush during Christmas seasons. The staff need to learn more about serving as a quality restaurant. Much to learn and much to do with the menu. Would probably not be back due to the food.
