Things are different due to the pandemic. The restaurant looks a bit empty but still you get a warm welcome. Last time I ordered a vegetarian dish and it tested good, but it could even taste bedre if they warm the dish.

I love Mesob, reasonable prices and delicious food! Friendly staff and relaxed atmosphere. Very hospitable, we even got some extra food :) if you go there please try the kitfo, its a delicious raw meat dish, and this is the best kitfo in Oslo no doubt!!!!

Excellent vegetarian food! So delicious that we almost ate too much... we will come back there :) they say they prepare the bread (injera) fresh every morning.

Very good and authentic Ethiopian food. Did not try their Somalian or Indian food that they advertise, it's probably good though. The kitchen is open and looks very busy and well run. They also serve Ethiopian coffee made and served in those little kettles. This place used to be a Somalian restaurant where the clients only seemed to be men, but now it seems more open to all genders and backgrounds.

Delicious homemade injera--vegetarian option was umami ️

Undoubtedly, my favourite Ethiopian restaurant in Europe! (I have been to many, because I love Ethiopian food). The last time we visited the restaurant, the owner brought few spices from the kitchen and let us taste the different spices. This time, the chef came outside to ask if we liked the food and was overjoyed to hear our feedback. The ambience is not very fancy but the food is unbelievable ! They also served some cardamom flavoured tea (for free :P). If you visit Norway, do visit this restaurant ! You will not be disappointed! - 259 kr for the plate in the photo free extra injera. Good amount of food for 3 people or even 4!

Awesome food. Incredible and lovely service. The food is well priced. The service is excellent and the owner and staff are very helpful. One of the best restraints in Oslo unlike the pretentious restraunts and pricing elsewhere. Injera and assortment of dishes for two people is only 259 for two people. Go here instead of the other Indian restaurants in the area and the 'fake Srilankan/South Indian' place across the street.
