Our MultiCoater is a product for depositing thin films of functional materials to a substrate with different coating techniques. We manufacture the MultiCoater, a robotic platform for thin film and coating fabrication which enables inkjet printing, ultrasonic spray coating, electrospinning and dip coating to be carried out from one equipment, thus significantly saving money and space when compared to installing individual systems. This is made possible by easy-to-use plug n play modules for the different techniques, augmented by a user friendly software for process automation. One can install the MultiCoater with only the modules of the techniques they currently need (say inkjet printing), and eventually add other modules for little additional cost as the need arises. The MultiCoater can be customised to reflect individual customer needs, for example an inert environment for handling sensitive materials. Pre and post coating/thin film fabrication modules are available: UV lamp, furnace, airblade dryer, hot plate for substrate, and both stationary and rotating substrate holders. The Robotic arm of the MultiCoater is capable of XYZ movement, ensuring flexibility in operation and coating of complex and large area substrates. LRC has facilities with equipment for rapid prototyping such as 3D printer, CNC router, laser cutter, lathe and mill. This allows for quick manufacturing and iterations of prototypes and developing products and turnkey solutions for our customers. We provide services for both R&D institutions and industries.
