Excellent Norwegian food! The staff were so kind and took the time to sit down with us and translated each item of the menu into English. When I’m back in the city I will come back again.

An amazing location with fantastic staff. They managed to keep cool while serving a group of 50 people while all those people wanted the service. They delivered with full pot. The only drawback was the price compared to what I got with food in mind. The food was good, do not get me wrong, but it was not the quality as the price implies.
Asylet is one of my favorite places in Oslo. The soul of the place, the happy people working there, the food, the historic buildings - everything adds up an amazing place. Being able to bring my dog, #trollheads_nessi, is a great bonus.
Quietly tucked near the Grønland T-bane, It is surprisingly charming. Nice food and good drink option.
Gronland has an oasis of charm. Food was good. Service slow but worth it.
Visited this typical Norwegian restaurant in November 2019. Asylet is located not far from Oslo central station, in a vibrant quarter. The building is quite old and give you a warm atmosphere with soft lights and candles. Price is around 37 for a main ( reindeer stew) and a beer. Recommended for a true local experience

Beautiful historic building with a fantastic interior and atmosphere. Really good Norwegian food. They do a lovely apple crumble with their own ice cream. Can happily recommend this restaurant.
