Oscar Wilde Lounge

My fiancé surprised me with afternoon tea at the Oscar Wilde Lounge and what a present it was! The service is amazing - we felt like royalty thanks to Dayenne and Jenny - and the room is stunning. But best of all, the food is incredible (we couldn’t get enough of the sausage rolls with homemade ketchup). I highly recommend this for anyone looking for a luxurious special occasion. As a bonus, the room was really spaced out for COVID, so much so that we could whisper and hear each other, and we never felt unsafe at all.

An excellent choice for afternoon tea! Our server Nathan was fun and knowledgeable. He gave great tea recommendations. Everything was delicious and well thought out. Tea here was exactly what I wanted on my first trip to London. I really recommend trying the Darjeeling tea with the sandwiches and the Phoenix Honey Orchid tea with dessert.

Me, my wife and my mother had the most wonderful experience at Cafe Royal's afternoon tea. The space is beautiful, food was just perfect and tea selection excellent. Most of all, our host Kilian was the absolute highlight with his kindness and attention to detail. He definitely made it a memorable time for all of us.

Excellent service and food. The lounge personifies class and exudes luxury. Lovely ambience with the live pianist. Good range of exquisite teas to suit all tastes and that's where their afternoon tea stands out amongst the rest - awesome variety. Only minor gripe their sandwiches need little more variety. Yet despite this teas are some of the best blends, best lounge and desserts are a delight!

The second time we've been here, would strongly recommend it. Everything is absolutely fantastic the food, service, atmosphere and setting are the best I've ever experienced. As a rare treat it cannot be beaten.
