One of many great burrito places in the mission! They have a great variety of proteins/fillings, and the salsas are amazing - I was particularly fond of the green one, as were my friends. Customer service really varied from employee to employee, we had a bit of a wait (over half an hour), and the burritos came out at erratic intervals, but overall it was a delicious meal! We carried out, but it's a bit smoky if you dine in.

Looking back past 2 decades I will say that Ortega is in the top 3 Mexican restaurant that I visited. Service is impeccable and the food is absolutely delicious. A must when I am in San Diego area.

Beautiful ambiance will go back when Monster Virus lets up. Food is good and service was friendly plus ordering online or by phone is available. So there's that. Make your own choice but. I recommend you try it

mexican food at this location - great. Great spot for an appetite of any size. I had a brother come into town and asked me to take him back here. It has a nice atmosphere. This place has many good reviews for a reason.

Really good Mexican food! It was so delicious, and the margaritas were amazing too.
