Geographical convenience is the only reason I ever willingly set foot in this place. The self service checkouts might as well just be painted on for the amount of times I've ever seen them open. They do have a good selection to be fair, but my goodness do you pay for the privelage. If you're buying more than a few things it's cheaper and quicker to get a taxi elsewhere. The fact that this is the only supermarket in the area has really challenged what I thought I knew about supply-demand economics.

When you live in Paris and suburb you can always find a Franprix close to you. This grocery market has evolved with time. From a limited choice of products because of the size of the shops to a descent choice of products. New shop design for different shopping size of market according to the place you live. You can find brand products and Franprix brand products. Franprix brand is good. It is a convenient place if you need to go more than twice a week. Price are average for this kind of market. They sell what you need.

They don't have prices on some of the items they display at the door and there are only 1-2 small cash registers working when the store is full. Otherwise you are likely to get everything you need from the store.

Ideally placed in the center of Orsay, you can find everything to eat. They are selling meat and fish and the vegetable & fruit area is well provisioned. They have a vegan corner so it's easy to find what you are looking for. Knowing other Franprix in Paris, this one has a lot more to sell, the place is huge.

Large choice, fresh produce, mostly nice workers. You can also go there to get a fresh complete meal (mostly salads, but not only).
