Great place love it here
My birthplace is near this sacred land. The government informed all base residents born after 1965 and before 1973 ( I think) that we as infants or children growing up on Gagetown may have been exposed to agent purple orange and green, but only folk who got cancer already qualify for anything. I can imagine what the natives got. I dont know TBH BUT What a stunningly beautiful area in the woods, I hope to see it again one last time. (I hope they dont close the base like they did in the Nations capital. THAT land also has legit claims against it. 5 min drive from downtown with a Ottawa river view ; million dollar property potential...maybe a floodzone it is so deep down from the Montreal road.) But Gagetown is a much better managed and busy base. The folks in Oromocto have the whole other experience if they want it. May they treat all the people who live there in equal decency.
