Simply went to change my tires. A month later my car started making noises. I brought it to get checked out at a different garage. Turns out they used a hammer to get my brakes off and destroyed my back brakes and drums. Do not recommend this shop. Run far far away.

Bad Experience. My wife booked a simple winter tire installation . I get a call from my wife - things have gone south. I call JP Auto to be told that, when removing the fourth wheel, the special tool (that comes with car to remove the anti theft nuts) broke - the reason, the nuts were on too tight. I am now being billed for extra labour costs - When I show them their receipt for installing the summer tires this past spring - and in their own words putting the nuts on too tight - too bad. Oh, and they put one locking nut back on, too chewed up to remove easily and they broke the tool to remove it - I cant fix a flat - I have to visit a dealer. Be wary if things go bad.
Quick, and honest service, prices are reasonable
This place is amazing. The owner is a great guy and will give you the best deal. He never gouges customers and will always help you get the most affordable solution. Highly recommended.
"If it 'aint broke, don't fix it!" They do not make unnecessary repairs on your vehicle and they let you know what's going on. They do what they can and give you decent rates. I think they offer a Canex too if you need it. I took my car here for the 5 years I was at Gagetown 2012-2015.
Great friendly garage. Honnest and good price
I had the bearings fixed in my car. 4 months later they went again. J&P covered the part under warranty.... but was very rude and unwilling to work with my situation. Our phone call ended with the employee hanging up on me.
My recommendation is do not go to J.P. Auto under any circumstance. I was swindled by them for my break pads, paid for repairs. After that I could tell they weren’t fixed. Paid over three hundred dollars for the repairs. About a month after I had to get my safety fixed and I went down the street to Otown auto just down the street to find out my break pads were finished and I needed new roters. Long story short go down the street to Otown if you are staying in town for repairs. JP auto gets 1 star only because that’s the lowest I can give them.
