Amazing service, care and compassion. From phoning the practice to report that my beautiful dog had been attacked, by another not so friendly dog, both Gus and us, the owners, were treated with the utmost professionalism and kindness. Mr Frazier came out to our car assessed Gus, sedated him and worked miracles to repair the damage to his face and eye. Thank you so much to the whole team at the surgery; receptionists, nurses and vets that have ensured this horrendous experience for us has resulted in Gus quickly being on the road to recovery.

After coming across an extremely unwell wild rabbit on an icy day, I rang for advice expecting to be told there was nothing they could do to help. On the contrary, the receptionist was super helpful and directed me to bring the rabbit in to be assessed. Sadly the rabbit had myxomatosis so there was nothing to be done but they very kindly put it to sleep so it was no longer suffering in the bitter cold on the roadside. I was expecting to be charged but they did it free of charge and out of compassion for a suffering wild animal. Thank you.

Absolutely disgusting service only interested n taking your money not the welfare of the animals! On every visit the first thing the vet has said is “it’s going to cost x amount of hundreds of pounds” that’s even before examining the animal would definitely not recommend or advise anyone to use this vets as there only priority is your money!!! Having spent well over 2500 on two “treatments” at this vets & on one occasion having to move my dog myself to another vets after major surgery only preformed a short while before being called at 8pm in the evening to tell me there’s no one at Rufford vets overnight so the dog has got to be taken to another vets & we were responsible for getting her there & could we go straight away as the vet was waiting to go home! Then when we picked the dog up to go to the other vets we were told by the vet at Rufford (liz) that it was 150 a night at the other vets & we would have to pay that before we went which we payed on bank card only then to find out when we got home that the sum of 854.47p had been taken from our bank account by Rufford vets!!!!Absolutely disgusting service no person to person skills displayed by the staff at all all they want is your money & plenty of it
