This place needs a bit more happiness with the staff. It was hard to tell if they were upset with us or just not in the mood to be working. Was an uncomfortable experience. Food wise the taste was great. However, one order was never delivered (they didn't miss us asking because we had to ask to remove it from check after) and the ham and cheese came without any actual cheese. That is where this got weird for me. Before telling the cooks, the two waitresses discussed it while one was raising and lowering our meal like she was complaining. Again, not sure if this was towards us or that the cook got it wrong. Finally gives the order to cook who dumps an outrageous amount of cold cheese on it. To add on to all this the two waitresses were doing full cleaning of the place with guests eating. I'm talking cleaning counters, sweeping, mopping including around our table, kind of stuff you do after hours. Very strange experience. As others have said the food was on point but the experience in general was rather uncomfortable and will not repeat because of it.

The food was really good, but I had to wait forever for it. The prices are way to much for the food. I also asked for a cuban coffee and the server told me that the machine was not working and as I was still waiting for my food, another customer came in that was Cuban and ordered a coffee and the server made it for her. Which means, if you are not Cuban I would not go here. I will never go again.

I used to love this place, but I'd give zero stars if there was the option. I'm not sure what happened with the cook and service, but the food quality decreased to the point that I'm not coming back. We ordered a reina pepiada. It took an hour to get to my table and was missing the avocado. I asked the server about it and returned the plate. She came came back with 3 slices of rotten avocado. If there is an ingredient that is not good at the moment, the server should've let us know so we could've order something else. We also ordered chicken soup and didn't have a taste. Too bad. This place used to be delicious. What a bad experience.
Most everything is freshly made on the premises. Nice and corteous customer service in both Spanish and English. Venezuelan food tastes Venezuelan, as it should. Nice!
