We had a fantastic time at this place. We loved the nice environment and the meals. The staff are super friendly. I’m glad we eventually managed to eat here.

The ambiance was nice. Very chic, waitress was very polite. The food prices were reasonable for sit down restaurant quality. I ordered oxtail (roughly 20) it came with Rice and fried Plantain. The drinks are authentic, and fresh juices available as well. The only downside is that There was no kalalou available for the day in the oxtail, yet if you are someone who doesn’t care for kalalou(okra), then no problemo! Other than that, I highly recommend it my Husband and I will be visiting again.
Dining at Kalalou is an adventurous and pleasant change of pace. Don't come if you're in a rush. All dishes are made from scratch and take a while to get to the table. Portions are huge and almost impossible to finish. The food is flavorful and spicy. Our server was very sweet and explained each dish. The restaurant is small and cute. They have a full bar. The patio wasn't open during our visit. You'll like your meal if you're prepared for spicy.
