As a local I can say that Orcadians's do drink and enjoy the wine and I have lots of favourite ones and they make lovely gift s for all occasions yum yum!!!!!!!!!

Interesting selection of wine made from fruits. I am not sure that many locals drink the local wine, I think its geared more to the tourist market. Having said that the staff are very nice and they offer delicious tastings. We bought a bottle of the Elderberry Borealis which was lovely and a bottle of Prosecco (not made in Orkney).
Lovely liqueurs and even lovlier chocolate. Friendly helpful staff.
After our visit in June 18. Found a large range to drink. HaHa. Will be going back next year Nice & helpful staff
Tastings were interesting flavor combinations from local berries. A good stop while you're at the Italian chapel
