Small car parking area access through a farmyard. Long walk to the hide, which seems luxurious beyond what’s necessary. No birds of interest when we visited. Notice on the back of the door where few people will see it says it was Lottery and EU Development Fund money, so that explains why it’s so luxurious. No toilets.

Remote, but stunning location. The hide sits well in the landscape with a green roof. The hide is large and impressive, not like your usual hide. Lovely. It has binoculars and guide books you can use. We saw a kestrel and a hen harrier.

Two mile detour from main road up through steep farmyard track to good car park for 5 cars. 10 min walk up to palacial hide with information and books funded by lottery. Nothing to see when we were there but good open moorland.

Great facility for serious twitchers and casual observers. A modern well built hide out of the elements with a great vista over some likely moorland. Saw lots of birds but no harriers on that visit.

A quite newly built hide. A good spot for cuckoos in spring and various raptors. There is a 5-10 minute walk from the car park and the track can be muddy so not suitable for wheelchair users. No toilet facilities, nearest are about 3 miles
