The food was so good, and it was the most interesting pudding I have eaten in my life. Was 19 for 3 courses, and had complimentary mulled wine, mince pies, coffee and crackers! I would give it 5 stars but obviously this is with students in training, so the service is a little clunky, but they are learning and it doesn't take away from the great food!
Had a delicious afternoon tea here today. Really tasty sandwiches and nice cake selection. Staff were friendly and accommodating to the two babies who were with us - even bringing them each a biscuit to enjoy. Will definitely visit again.
I have been to Origins on a few occasions and find the food exceptional. As a training facility for young people entering the catering business it’s first class. The students and staff are always attentive and courteous. Being able to offer vocational courses such as this is, in my mind, a very important part of our educational system and one that must be maintained.
Thai special event was OK, curry was more like a stew. Have had better meals here.
