Had the pleasure of taking a half day trip with Capt. Gary this past week. Although conditions weren’t ideal, Gary took us to an area with less wind and immediately put us on the bite. Even with his expert instruction(Don’t jerk!) I managed to miss about three times as many fish as I caught and still caught fish all morning. It was my first experience fishing for redfish and speckled trout and I’m hooked. Would highly recommend Gary and am looking forward to our next trip.

Class act captain. Extremely knowledgeable and friendly. Top of the line equipment

Beware of someone with years in the business and only 6 reviews. Likely people had my same poor experience and are just too polite than to post it publicly. Went out two consecutive days and Capt was basically just rude. And when my 83 year old father couldn't make a super long cast to a feeding redfish the first day, it was almost like he was done with us. I can get over not catching a ton of fish but not paying someone to condescend to my dad and me.

I would be remiss to describe my recent trip with Captain Gary as a fantastic fishing adventure. A more accurate description would be “a biology field trip and fishing seminar wrapped around the most productive specked trout fishing I’ve experienced”. I have been an avid angler for five decades, fished with many guides from Virginia to the Florida Keys so I feel qualified to say Captain Gary rates best of the best. I highly recommend Speck Fever guide service if you’re goal is to not only have a productive day on the water but to come away from your experience a better angler.

Had a great trip with Capt. Gary, he has great knowledge of the local creeks and sounds. Gary will work hard to make sure you have every opportunity to catch fish. Caught my largest old drum with the help of Capt. Gary!
