The food is excellent and plenty of choice (as you'd expect from most Chinese takeaways). I've used this place on many occasions and the meals have always been consistently good. This would have been a 5 star review, however I visited last Thursday to make a collection order, there were two delivery drivers sat in the waiting area. I waited at the counter for more than 5 minutes, closer to 10 minutes probably. In this time, the only time that a staff member came to the counter was to sort the delivery orders with the drivers. I was never acknowledged in all the time I was waiting and so I walked out and went elsewhere. The service is usually excellent, I'm going to return and hopefully it was a one-off because they were very busy.

Piece of glass found in food I nearly broke my tooth. Still no call from manager to apolagise. I was polite in my complaint and told I would receive a call. 3days now no apology. Shame as always Neen nice food.
Disappointed I have to write this review as have been ordering off them for years. ordered from Oriental on Christmas eve (little family tradition as we all work Xmas eve so when get home we have a takeaway and binge watch Xmas movies so we had all been waiting for this all day lol) we ordered at 5.50 pm and it was a 45 minute wait, absolutely fine. An hour had passed and I let that go because I know they can be busy but then at 7.30 decided to ring just to check if maybe they had forgot us, young girl on the phone said she would go check in the kitchen, came back and said she is sorry and we are next in line to come out. When they say this you expect OK maybe 15 minutes then? No another 45 passes so we ring again and they said it would be here by half 8, half 8 passes so I decided to ring back and just kindly point out that very shortly it will be exactly 3 hours since we ordered and everytime we ring they keep fobbing us off that we are next out, by this time it wasn't a young girl on the phone but I man who told me he's actually the delivery driver and he's getting just as annoyed as he'd been getting angry calls all night and everytime he went into the kitchen the staff kept telling him it'll be ready in 20 minutes lol if this was a one off I'd probably be like its OK you know it's Christmas eve maybe they've been a bit busier than they anticipated and the food is nice so I'll forgive it but something similar happend about 2 months prior so as this is the second time I think I'll just try find another Chinese takeaway in bispham, any suggestions lol
I have ordered from here twice now and I have to say that the food is amazing! I called the takeaway to see if they could change the type of sauce on one of the items i ordered and they could not have been more helpful and accommodating. If you like fall off the bone meat with minimal fat then the salt and chilli ribs are definitely worth trying. This is now the only chinese I will order from. Very good sized portions and value for money. Great service too with on time delivery.
