Love this place, but hate this place. Ben and Julie are great and the shop is locally owned by them. Ben is a veteran, and I always try to shop him first. Not only that, he is a good guy and his classes are always informative. Why do I hate it? I can't walk out without spending money :D

Nothing but great things to say about Underwater Connection and the great owners Julie and Ben! I took part in the Basic Free Diving Certification course this past weekend with zero prior diving experience and I came out of the weekend ready to book the Advanced course in a few weeks because of the great teaching from Julie and I’m also planning to book a Scuba Diving class with Ben for my family! The shop also had all the gear we could need and it’s a great small business to support! 5/5 recommendation and I will definitely be back as a customer and student.
I took the level 1 free diving class with Julie who is a fantastic instructor! She helped me learn different breathing techniques and rescue skills which overall made me feel much more comfortable in the water. Her husband Ben even let me use his goggles when mine were failing. Great people! Will definitely be back again!
I can not recommend this place enough for EVERYTHING dive related (classes, trips, gear, etc). I was searching for a place to obtain my advanced open water cert. for scuba. After calling and talking with several dive shops in Ohio, Underwater Connection gave the best deals with the most organization out of all of the others. Ben and Tom were superb instructors who offered quality teaching. Both demonstrated remarkable professionalism and patience, while maintaining a friendly atmosphere that encouraged development. The instruction was top notch and helpful. Our learning was the upmost priority for both and that was clearly demonstrated. Definitely the best scuba experience I have had. I also bought several pieces of equipment from them. Their store is beautiful and clean. Ben was able to give me tons of recommendations with great deals. I felt very assured that what he was suggesting was the best option for me, and it definitely was. If you are ever interested in anything diving related, go to Underwater Connection. Thank you for the amazing experience, and I hope to continue diving with you guys.
We took The Level 1 free diving class with Julie. It was a great experience! So then we also bought all of our gears that we needed as well. She was very patient and helpful with anything we needed. Also they are the only store we could find that has all the free diving gears in stock ! Highly recommend!!
