ORB Micropub - Ale and Whisky House

Great pub, great selection of whiskeys, more than enough to choose from. Friendly and fantastic beers, ales and even stout! If you are a local or visiting then you need to make a visit to this instant local institution. Superb atmosphere, prefer the local, homes sweet home Ale and it was perfect. I'll be back.

Fantastic warm welcoming space. Much larger than it looks on the outside. The bar has a excellent selection of ales to suit every taste. The two I had were in amazing condition. Fridges full of beery goodies too. Large collection of gins and a huge choice of whiskies. A must visit in Darlington for anyone who loves great beer and friendly faces.

My mate and I really enjoyed ORB this last weekend. Without doubt the best beer and atmosphere we found in Darlington plus it's a super friendly place where everyone greets you with a smile. The nearby Number 22, though good, was far too noisy and crowded for us. ORB is a must visit for anyone who likes their ale - our favourite was Durham Magus, so drinkable!

My first visit i truely fell in love with the orb. A cracking range of beers, from English bitters, mirco breweries and Belgium beers. Lovely atmosphere with the locals are chatting and contributing to the same conversations. Always look forward to a visit here.
