Great decision. Lovely friendly service and quality food to match. The seafood platter to share for starters was excellent. Plenty of it and a great selection of fish. Nicely hot (apart from the fresh prawns ). My classic ham, egg and chips was excellent, and my partners mango salad was beautifully fresh and presented. There was enough of it she could not finish it. Unfortunately did not leave room for dessert. Next time! Had a nice walk round Bedfords Park after which was needed .

Just beautiful. First time in this pub 4 a nice lunch. Staff efficient, food amazing. Really relaxing place. Spotless clean. Outside decking area very pretty and well kept.
The Sunday roast was delicious. The best I have eaten in a restaurant. Sat outside with a gin in the sun and it was fantastic. Quite pricey though so only as a special treat.
This spot is worth visiting. They have big portions for reasonable prices. Always well organized and with awesome character. I highly recommend this place.
Lovely pub with a really nice garden. Couldn't eat there as they had a private party and the few remaining tables were reserved so definitely good idea to phone in advance to book.
