An orange color building, with smoking n non seatings. Was told that this has been around for five years. Tried nasi liwet, tahu pong, risoles n es campur special opa. All of this are delicious, seasoned well n suitable for my taste buds. Nasi liwet is tasty n spicy, in moderate portion. Tahu pong with shrimp paste plus sweet soya sauce is a good match. Es campu is unique, dressing witu various fruit cuts, the 'gravy' is dragon fruit juice. Really recommended! Will be back for sure.

I think this restaurant is really great. The food is very delicious, I usually order Gudeg Rice which is really good. The restaurant isnt too crowded. Overall I really like this place.
"Opa Resto", the meaning of that name in bahasa Indonesia is "Grandpa's Resto" no idea if there's another reason why the owner using that name. Well this restaurant is preparing all Indonesian food especially the authentic foods from Central Java which are tasteful and sweet. You can find about 100 kind of foods and drinks there, sometimes bit confusing what to choose for all them look interesting and yummy. You can dine normally as one person with one plate of food only or two. But if you plan to come in a group of 5 or 6 people you can order a "Bancakan" style. Means one for all. They will prepare all foods you are asking for in one giant plate (bamboo basketworks) covered with banana leafs, then eat them all together. You have to consider your hand as the cutleries. For the bigger of group about 10 to 15 people, instead of using bamboo basketworks. They will cover the dinning table with plastic surface put banana leafs on it and pour all foods on the top and with no hesitate you eat them all together. Above "Bancakan" word if translated to English would similarly to the word "guttle" (Merriam Webster Dictionary) means to eat or drink greedily and noisily.
