During the fall holiday we booked an arrangement for 5 nights at Hotel de Bilderberg. Due to COVID:19 everything got quite complicated. The hotel succeeded in making a routine, respecting the COVID:19 measures. We are positive about our experience, but have some remarks: most of the staff is kind and helpful, but there are some not that empathetic and helpful. The room is not entered by personnel due to covid, but 5 nights in a row is too long without cleaning, and we do not have cleaning equipment. The shower of the Sauna is not cleaned (enough) and was cleaned by ourselves. Furthermore: the hotel has a nice atmosphere and great facilities. The hotel is surrounded by a beautiful area, offering a lot of ways to entertain yourself. So, a positive rating with some remarks. Menekşe & René

Hotel with style and a story! Very nicely located in an open area. Friendly, helpfull and knowledgeable staff members. Easy to find and plenty if parking space available. Rooms are nice, clean and comfortable.

Positives:The hotel is located in an absolutely beautiful place. And they have chair outside in order to sit on , which was very pleasing and nice. The receptionists and people in the restaurant were also very friendly. Breakfast was also quite nice, and they had labels on the floor so that people would not walk into each other, because of corona. The pool and table tennis were also nice. Negatives:I booked two rooms in this hotel because of the high rating on booking however it did not meet my expectations. First, on booking.com it says that the check in time is from 15 which right now is not possible because of the busy times. Apparently that is only mentioned in their website. But the worst, was that there were no air-coolers in the two rooms that I had booked. Only two little ventilation things which did not help at all (one of them barely had power). And there were only little windows and no air circulation. Outside was much cooler compared to the rooms. I didn't see anything mentioned about airco's on booking or their own website. I tried calling several times before my stay to check things, however I was always put on hold. Only once an employee answered, but put me on hold again... I've been to other hotels for the same price with air conditioners in the Netherlands before therefore, it was very disappointing. Especially because they said that some rooms do have aircos but they are fully booked and there are no more ventilators, there should've been alternatives for rooms without those (although I did not see airco's mentioned anywhere or else I would've booked somewhere else). My little sister got sick in the middle of the night, and the rest of my family could not sleep. In general I would only recommend this hotel if you are not going to be inside for a long time, or can get a room with an air-conditioner. I think you are mostly paying for the great location.

It is a lovely hotel with beautiful grounds and bicycles for hire. The rooms and beds are very comfortable. Showers are excellent. Staff are lovely. The only criticism I have is the drinks machines in the public areas were nearly always out of use and they ran out of Tea Bags.

Hotel with an old-timey vibe in the rooms but very contemporary on the ground level. Great amenities, free fitness, pool, sauna and steam area. Very welcoming bar and restaurants. Staff very friendly and accommodating, they can help you with any questions you have.

This hotel was for years well known and is situated in the woods. the rooms are nice and big .The breakfast was very good. A pity that there is no safe and coffee in the rooms. We ate dinner in the French,American restaurant with 12 people.the prices were ok,but the food was disappointing..
