Introduction MainTrack was established in 2003 in response to the need of a group of small airlines to develop an affordable and shared IT infrastructure and application environment. The cooperation of airlines on technology allowed them to improve quality of applications and increase efficiency of operations. The company is founded by experienced travel and IT experts that each have backgrounds at market leaders in IT, consulting and travel services. Reference projects MainTrack has run a great number of development projects for its customers. Two of these are described in more detail below. Travel Website & Apps From 2011 to 2012 MainTrack has developed a multi-currency, multi-language travel service for booking flights, hotels, car rental, and restaurants. At the back-end the services is integrated with over 10 travel service brokers and several credit card providers. At the front-end the service is usable through a website, apps for iPhone, Android, Windows Phone 7 and Blackberry and back-office for supporting customer care. Cargo Management Website and Messaging From 2012 to now, as an extension to a cargo management system MainTrack has developed a service that allows customers of cargo operator to track and trace their shipments both through a website and an Android app. MainTrack has developed further extensions in the form of the integration of IATA TypeB messaging input and communication with the SITA and ARINC networks and a management information dashboard.
