Awful ribs, extremely over cooked and hard covered in a sauce. Don’t waste your money!!! My partner says worst ribs he has ever eaten. Don’t bother with the reconstituted chicken burger either! It’s like rubber!

Recently changed owners who have unfortunately reduced the quality of the menu and food. I've been eating from the Ongar Road Fish Bar for over 7 years due to the amazing food that they offered but I won't going there again. Little touches such as the home made chilli sauce has been changed to a low quality mass produced product and the charcoal grill has been swapped for gas. The shop now reflects the many other kebab shops in Brentwood (such as the one opposite).
Bought a portion of chips last week and they were mega. Big and crispy and of course very yummy. Top stuff indeed.
Awful service. Ordered over two hours ago and it still didn't turn up. Rang five times and was just messed around each time. Finally told it was out for delay and told it was going to be 5 minutes. After 40 minutes it still didn't arrive. Cancelled it in the end. Total waste of time.
Best fish and chips we’ve had in Brentwood. Good portions, amazing chips but just slightly pricey but worth it
