Late stop for work travel, takeout. Pork shoulder dinner. Meat was a little dry but the smokiness was wonderful and perfect charring. Green beans have a complex flavor... Tea? Turnip greens were heavenly. Great value. Really want to give it five stars (4.5 of Google let me), but the meat needs to have a knockout in my books for barbecue, even if some of the sides and other elements are outstanding.

Jennifer was the best server here I had by far! She was on top of things & didn’t even need to ask ! For example she kept my drink filled. Her kindness was amazing. & her strive to make sure we were taken care of was the best part. The food was also amazing. Definitely go for the nachos. AC & Tiffany did their part to make sure the dining room and the guest were good. Will be back for Jennifer & the food !!
I came back to one and only today and the service was even better than yesterday. Savannah my server is great and the manager Anthony Collins is real polite and always ask did you enjoy your experience here? Nice people and I watched Anthony training a new employee Jennifer. Made it look fun. Great food, real good customer service. Will most definitely be back. —Mr Finch
I really had a good experience at one & only Southaven. My server Gracie was really good and the managers Prince and Tiffany are good with the customers. They come around and ask how was everything? Tell us the truth? I like that! A Nice friendly homely environment, I will most definitely be back! Ron Finch
Very slow service. And then when my food did arrive the meat was cold, not just a little cold but like someone forgot to warm it up.
