We first visited On The Rocks last August and absolutely loved it. The service, the lunchtime set menu and the quality of food is incredible. We should have posted a review last year as we revisited just last week and despite being fully booked, the team (and the cool barman with the beard) were able to squeeze us in on both a lunchtime and on Friday night also. It was our last night on Holiday and one of our highlights of the week. The menu is simply amazing and there is something for everyone. The presentation of the dishes was what I can only describe as Michelin Star. We tried the Lamb Ragu, Oysters (which are the best we have ever eaten), Squid, Scallops and the Crispy Belly Pork for starters (had the Belly Pork and Oysters on all visits as it is all so good). For mains, we opted for the seafood linguine, West Country Rump and the catch of the day. All served hot, fresh and simply delicious. The service is welcoming and friendly and whether seated inside or out on the decking, it truly is a relaxing place to be. The different staff that served us were all equally professional and attentive and the owner was also serving tables and looking after her team and customers. We just hope there will be an \On The Rocks\ opening in Southampton soon. We will be back!! Booking in advance is a must especially with the added COVID situation as these guys are booked up to 2 weeks in advance. I hope the photos do the food justice as it was simply incredible!

Lovely view of the harbour, freshly made food, dog friendly. Limited menu but good value, as 2 courses for 25 or 3 for 30. Only bad thing was the linguine was swimming in olive oil. Overall, was lovely and would definitely go again, lovely place.

What a great little restaurant! Came down to Torquay with my wife and 3 kids. Last minute everywhere was booked up. Managed to get a table here. So happy. Brilliant atmosphere. Small venue looking directly over the sea. The menu was a set menu affair but the choices were good. We had the oysters, the scallops, the muscles, the belly pork, the steak. Kinda everything. Service was good too. Can't fault the place. Worth a visit if you appreciate good seafood.

Excellent food and excellent service. Two courses for 25 was great value for this quality of food. Highly recommended the pork belly starter and the fish of the day.

Friendly and relaxed atmosphere, great food and reasonably priced. Staff very attentive without being overbearing. Best mussels I've ever had. (Partner wants to add that the linguini was )
