In Pastor Mark's sermon, he said John may have been told by Jesus prior to the baptism event. But in John 1:29-34, John said he did not know Jesus was the Christ until the sign of the Holy Spirit after Jesus' baptism which initiated his ministry.

I visited my friends for the weekend & joined them for church. I really appreciated the way Mark shared with us the stories in the book of Revelations

I went to a. Christmas service with my family on Dec. 23rd...it was just okay as I'm a Catholic and my son is a protestant.. It. Was totally different.,the one part I did like was they gave us a candle, and we all lit them from one another and sang silent night...its structure is beautiful. They have a balcony where we all sat...and chairs on the floor by the stage.. I went as my family invited me...it was kind of them to do so...so I went...happy new year!! May God richly bless you all year!
