Safe and welcoming atmosphere. . One way system in progress. Sanitiser on the way in and out . Self check out for borrowed books. Help on hand if needed.
Excellent place to visit, wide range of books, large print & audio, children, teenage, adults, fiction and reference plus study etc. Weekly newspapers available to read, tea and coffee machine, photocopying and computers and printing available to use. Exhibitions and other events happen as well as weekly and monthly clubs and classes. Also a jigsaw available to build. Lots of very helpful staff available and toilets accessible to all from the very youngest to the oldest. Membership is free.
It’s my first time visiting Omagh Library and it seems to be a nice place to sit down and conduct some online research, especially into family history.
